ANNE ESTOUP RECEIVES CLEFS D’OR
THREE FIRST-CLASS CONCIERGES FOR THE SOFITEL FRANKFURT OPERA
Anne Estoup, the concierge at the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera, is now a member of the prestigious international professional association of Clefs d’Or. She was officially awarded the prestigious golden keys on May 22. Estoup is only the second woman in Frankfurt to receive the concierge award.
With Anne Estoup, three concierges of the five-star superior hotel are now members of the Clefs d’Or. Before her already chief Concierge of the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera, José Luis Lopez, as well as Philipp Schetter were taken up. Estoup will be presented with the award after the official meeting of Frankfurt concierges by Holger Müller, section chairman of the association The Golden Keys of Hesse.
Anne Estoup has already been part of the Sofitel family since 2018 and began her career in the luxury hotel industry at the Sofitel Frankfurt Opera as an intern. Previously, the French native studied business administration in Bayonne. She has called Frankfurt her second home for the past eight years. Estoup has been loyal to the five-star superior hotel on Opernplatz since her internship and has moved up from working in guest relations to concierge.
Regionally, the Golden Key Association is divided into seven areas, so-called sections. Berlin Brandenburg is the largest section in Germany with 35 members, followed by Bavaria with 24, Hamburg with 14 and Hesse with 12 active colleagues. In Germany, only 102 active concierges belong to the prestigious association (as of May 2023). To receive this high-profile award, aspirants must have worked in the luxury hotel industry for at least five years, and of those, two years as a concierge. In addition, a recommendation by two other active member concierges is mandatory until finally the Presidium decides. The vision of the Golden Keys hotel concierges is to set new standards and always offer their guests an individual and customized service.
Anne Estoup explains after her ceremonial honor: “I am very pleased to receive this award. It means for me an appreciation of my work for our guests.” General Manager Steffen Opitz is also proud: “We are delighted with Anne Estoup, as she has well-deservedly received this award. Our hotel stands for first-class service, which is also reflected in our staff’s memberships in the Clefs d’Or.”
